CHICAGO (June 12, 2017) – Computerworld announced today that Enova International has been named one of IDG’s Computerworld 2017 Best Places to Work in IT, listed among 100 top organizations that challenge their IT staffs with engaging work while providing great benefits, culture, perks, and compensation. This marks the fifth consecutive year Enova has been named to the list.

“We are honored to be named one of Computerworld’s 2017 Best Places to Work in IT,” said David Fisher, Enova’s CEO. “Enova’s 200-plus-person tech team builds and supports the technology that enables us to realize our mission of helping hardworking people fulfill their financial responsibilities with fast, trustworthy credit. Enova’s values of “Operate as an Owner,” “Top Talent and Teamwork,” “Best Answer Wins,” “Customer First” and “Accountable for Results” form the basis for an innovative culture in which all team members are empowered to contribute new ideas and drive real results together.

To aid in continuous learning and development, the company offers several ongoing programs. Enova’s Baseline onboarding training program provides a suite of exercises for every new engineering hire to work through during their first few weeks, ensuring they have the core knowledge needed to be successful in their role. Weekly Enova Talks enable team members to present ideas, foster communication and learn new skills. Through Enova’s Tech Exchange, participants can fully immerse themselves in a new area of tech for four weeks in order to learn more about the different roles across the technology spectrum.

In addition, Enova offers team members the hardware and software of their choice, a fully stocked kitchen with over 200 varieties of snacks, and a multitude of perks including subsidized haircuts, a comprehensive parental leave program, happy hours and sabbaticals.

“As technology moves to the strategic center of every business, the ability of the enterprise to attract and retain skilled IT talent has become critically important,” said Ken Mingis, executive editor of Computerworld. “The 100 organizations on our 2017 Best Places to Work in IT list keep their tech employees happy and engaged by offering generous salaries, top-notch benefits, continuous training, and access to cutting-edge technologies. In empowering their tech workforce, these firms gain competitive advantage, and we applaud them for their achievements.”
