Enova Launches Associate Volunteer Day
Leading Online Lender Offers Employees the Opportunity to Give Back When and Where They Want

CHICAGO (Aug. 30, 2014) – Enova International recently launched the Enova Gives Associate Volunteer Day, the latest addition to its Enova Gives corporate citizenship program. Designed to provide employees with another way to give back, full-time associates now have one paid work day each year to volunteer for or on behalf of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of their choice. The time can be taken in one full day or two half-days to provide flexibility for employees’ busy schedules.
“Volunteering is very important to Enova and our employees, so we’re always looking for new ways to make sure that people can take the time they need,” says Sarah Doll, Enova’s senior director of talent management. “Adding a volunteer day was a natural solution, and one we certainly hope our employees will take advantage of.”
The Enova Gives Associate Volunteer Day is the second volunteer program Enova has launched in 2014. Earlier this year, Enova kicked off a partnership with Chicago Cares, a nonprofit that helps connect employees with group volunteering opportunities across the city. Enova works with Chicago Cares to identify and coordinate high-impact service opportunities for small groups of employees throughout the Chicagoland area.
Volunteerism is just one arm of the Enova Gives program, which aims to strengthen the economic and social well being of the communities it serves. Aside from the new Associate Volunteer Day and the Chicago Cares monthly group volunteer events, Enova matches employee charitable donations up to $250 a year. It also financially supports several organizations that are dedicated to strengthening and broadening access to quality education, improving the lives of children and young adults in need, and providing access to high quality financial literacy programs.
